Rappahannock News Photo/Barbara C. Wayland Graduation exercises were held at the Rappahannock County High School on Saturday, June 16 at 10 a.m. when sixty-six students received their diplomas. Seventeen from the class were members of the National Honor Society. Twenty-four members received the Governor’s Seal (advanced studies diploma - 23 credits - with a 3.0 or better GPA.) Judith Richards Hope, a corporate lawyer, was the keynote speaker. The RCHS band performed several selections. Remarks were given by the Salutatorian, Amber Dawn Welch, the Valedictorian, Amanda Christine Sims as well as Dr. David M. Gangel and Principal Joseph B. Perine. Scholarships were also presented.
