Gangel remarked) “she and her sticky buns” will be greatly missed. Shirley has been a constant source of assistance and support for cafeteria manager Pat Jenkins for many years.
• Third Grade teacher Mrs. Virginia Striplin has retired as well and will be moving to California to be closer to family. She has been a kind and gentle presence in our school system and we wish her well in her new life.
• Mr. John Glass, Second Grade teacher, Ms. Ren Dietel and Mr. Michael Stout, Sixth Grade teachers, and Seventh Grade English teacher Mrs. Eva Atkins will all be moving on to new adventures as well.
• At RCHS Art teacher Ms. Laurie Marshall, Science teacher Mr. Brion Patterson, P.E. teacher Mr. Donn Hackney, Math teacher Ms. Sherry Burke, Librarian Mrs. Beth Scott, Social Studies teacher Mr. Reed Gillespie and Business teacher Ms. Valerie Miller will be leaving us. It has been a pleasure being associated with all of these wonderful folks and we wish them all success in their new endeavors.
