She was a host parent to many exchange \ students through the American Field Service.

Surviving are two sons, Lawrence B. Vierling of Fairburn, Ga. and Bruce Vierling of Flint Hill; one daughter, Karen V. Allen of Oak Park, 111.; one sister, Nancy Patterson of Prairie Village, Kan.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.

Norman M. Frock, 75, of Ocala, Fla. died June 12 at his residence.

Mr. Frock was a retired Sr. Master Chief Petty Officer from the U.S. Military Navy. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy Branch and returned to serve at the Naval Recruiting Command in Arlington until his retirement in 1986.
