The re-enactors of the 17th Virginia Infantry, Company H, entertained many with their drills and firing demonstrations and their tent-camp displays. Ripley Robinson, who portrayed Confederate General Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson was almost eerily real, like someone who just walked out of the Civil War years.
Thanks too to Ron Frazier and son Ronny for galloping to our support on their trusty steeds, just like Jeb Staurt’s horse soldiers. And like the minstrels of yesteryear, Dan Lewis and his friends provided old time music that all could enjoy.
