Rappahannock News Photo/Baibara C. Wayland FRIENDS PROJECT: The Friends of the Rappahannock Library recently took on a landscaping project as part of its mission of overall support for the library. Plans were drawn up in December of 2000 and the gardens were planted in April of 2001. The entire project was paid for by The Friends with funds they raised from a fundraiser letter. The Friends will also pay for the upkeep and maintenance of the gardens. Hophornbean trees have been planted and the common name for the shrubs are: Blue Mist Caryopteris; Heavenly Bamboo, Dwarf English Yew, Blackhaw, Marie’s Doublefile Vibum; Monroe s White Liriope; Periwinkle and Boxwood. * ,
