Dinner with Mark Warner
The Page County Democrats have invited all Rappahannock voters to a dinner with Mark Warner, Democratic candidate for Governor, on Friday, July 6 starting at 6 p.m. in Stanley. Tickets are $15. Citizen celebration planned
The notorious Lunch Bunch, having over twenty years experience in their daily meetings and some many more years of enjoyment in the beauty of our mountain county and the love of our neighbors wish to celebrate our good fortune. In doing this we will pay special tribute to one outstanding citizen who, more than any other has served the community with expertise as a doctor of medicine, an environmentalist, farmer, zoning official and a good and faithful friend. This is Dr. Werner Krebser.
On Sunday, July 1 at 4 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall all who have known and benefited of his service are invited to a pot luck event. Dress is as you like and all are expected to attend and join us in wishing Dr. Krebser “Godspeed”.
Summer trail rides set
The Rappahannock Hunt is once again offering summer trail rides. The ride on Sunday, June 24 will be held at Maple Lawn at 10 a.m.

Youth Alive rally set
Youth Alive of Amissville is having a Christian Youth Alive Rally on Saturday, June 30 from 3 to 10 p.m. at Camp Willoughby in Quail Ridge. Sports, music, food, friends and fun are all featured activities for the evening. Live music will be provided by the 24/7 Band. For information call 937-5210.
