• Whew! Another successful year completed in the public schools, and what a year it has been!
• Graduates from RCHS are now on their way to becoming full-fledged, productive, contributing citizens of this wonderful country and we could not be more proud. Mr. Joe Perine, RCHS Principal, remarked recently that he has been in many school systems across the country and feels that he has a very objective perspective when looking at our students and staff. He feels that we have the most genuinely polite group of students of any school he has had the pleasure to visit; kids who fire selfless and willing to pitch in to help in a variety of ways.
(From this Volunteer Coordinator’s perspective, those are seen as potential school volunteers!) He was especially grateful to have so many students show up to help with preparations for graduation.
• Faculty and staff were given an opportunity to share special thoughts about individual colleagues at a staff breakfast on Monday morning hosted by Dr. David Gangel, Superintendent. The comments were sincere and genuinely affectionate and could be applied to any number of our staff members. So often we forget to take time to appreciate those around us, but when we do we feel extremely fortunate to be surrounded by such generosity and talent.
