All participants in the race are eligible for the prizes but must be present at the awards ceremony to qualify.
For the first time, a cash prize will be offered for the first, second and third place overall winners in both men’s and women’s divisions. First prize is $75; second prize is $50 and third prize is $25.
Registration begins at 8:30 a m. at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department and the cost is $20. The race begins at 10 a.m. at the Flint Hill Warehouse on the north end of town.
All participants who finish the 6.2 mile course will receive a t-shirt.
