Gospel concert planned A Southern Gospel Concert will be held at Washington Baptist Church and Woodville Baptist Church on Sunday, April 21. The group. “Sons of Praise" from Lynchburg will be singing in the 11 a.m. worship service at Washington Baptist followed by a covered-dish lunch at the church and a 1:30 p.m. concert to follow.
The trio will then travel to Woodville Baptist Church for a 7 p.m. concert. Singers include Dan Marks, his father, Steve Marks and Malcolm Bailey, brother of Rev. Phil Bailey. For more information contact Rev. Bailey at 675-3336 or Rev. Trey Hensley at 987-3317.
