Additional survivors include one step-grandson, Leif Kvames; an aunt, Ann Thompson and her husband, Paul of Fork Union and an uncle, J. Rodes Brown Jr. of Tazewell.
Graveside services were held on Monday, April 15 at Woodville Cemetery with Rev. Jennings Hobson officiating.
Honors were provided by the Culpeper American Legion Post #330 and the Culpeper V.F.W. Post #2524.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
Lucy Strother

Lucy Mae Strother, 74, of Front Royal died Saturday, April 6 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, April 9 at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Hoover Heflin. Burial was in Panorama Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Strother was born Jan. il, 1928 in Sperryville, daughter of the late Charles B. and Eunice Clater Atkins.
She was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church and the wife of the late Clarence D. Strother Sr.
Surviving is a son, C.D. Strother Jr. of Front Royal.
Henry Keyser Jr.
Washington resident
Henry Magruder Keyser Jr., 69, of Washington died Monday, April 15 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
He graduated from Randolph-Macon Academy in 1951 and Virginia Tech in 1955. Mr. Keyser also served as Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He retired from Abbot Laboratories in 1987.
Mr. Keyser was an avid horseman and enjoyed golfing and sailing.
