Conservation fund
created in his honor

A new conservation fund to protect sensitive properties in Rappahannock County is being created in honor of Dr. Werner Krebser.
In naming the fund after Dr. Krebser the organizers are acknowledging the debt owed to Dr. Krebser for his decades of dedication and tireless hard work to help preserve and protect the scenic beauty and way of life in this county that all Rappahannockers treasure.
The Krebser Fund is being created with assistance from the Piedmont Environmental Council and input from various community organizations including the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance and Rappahannock Farmers’ Association.
Initial organizers include Merrill Strange, Bob Lander, Gary Light, John Sullivan, Tony Lapham, Dick McNear and Alan Zuschlag, as well as Doug Larson and John Rice of the Piedmont Environmental Council.
