Sherman Rappahannock News Staff Writer Rappahannock County School Board members unanimously approved Tuesday a proposal for consistent grade reporting periods at the elementary school. Science teacher Holly Massie gave a presentation at the monthly School Board meeting outlining the justification to move to a nine week grading term in grades 4-7. See SCHOOL, Page A6 Meetings & Notices • On Thursday, Sept. 11 the Architectural Review Board of the Town of Washington will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall on Gay Street. • Rapidtran transportation services will not operate on Friday, Sept. 12 in observance of a staff In-Service Day. • The Rappahannock Historical Society will be closed for the week of Sept. 15 through Sept. 19 for staff vacation. It will reopen Monday, Sept. 22. • On Wednesday, Sept. 17, the Rappahannock County Planning Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street.
