Sheriff John Woodward told the Board of Supervisors last Wednesday he is receiving many complaints about loitering in Sperryville, dogs running loose and target shooting in residential areas, but there is nothing he can do about these complaints.
It was a bunch of firsts for the Tbwn Council of Washington last week.
They sat down in their colonial Clore chairs for the first time, gathered around the handsome new Peter Kramer table and went to work for their first meeting in the Tbwn Hall.
Present were town attorney Frank Reynolds Jr., left, Ray Gooch, Brad Fisher, Mayor Dean Morehouse, Mark Bailey, Janice Moffet, Susan Parrish and Newbill Miller.
