Minors had a great second game.
The two Major league teams traveled to Pearson Elementary to play a team from the Southern Division. The team coached by Manny Garcia won its game and had excellent game playing from Brad Johnson and Chris Garcia. The team coached by Wes Mills lost its game by a score of 10 - 6. Both coaches were proud of all their players on this opening day.
The 13-year-old prep team coached by Rick Drake won both its games and the Junior team coached by Jay Jarrells tied the first game and lost the second. Rappahannock looks forward to next Saturday with a full day of games planned.
