Nathan and Dylan Corbin, two teenage brothers, were less than three miles from their Slate Mills Road home when a fatal accident occurred early Tuesday morning, killing 16-year-old Dylan.

It has left the Rappahannock County community, especially their schoolmates, parents and teachers in shock and disbelief over the tragedy involving two of the school’s most popular students, brothers who were "always together."

And it was especially hard on rescue personnel and police on the scene who knew the boys and their family in this small community. One of them, Sgt. Gary Settle of the Virginia State Police, is their basketball coach. He had to identify the body and go to the family home at 3:30
