Will Boelte and Travis Jenkins helped in the rebounding department with eight and seven.
Against Luray, Porter had a game high 29 points and 20 rebounds and played a tremendous game for an eighth grader.
Daniel Rollins had several key steals and contributed with seven points.
Against Signal Knob Middle School (Strasburg) the young Panthers raced out to an early 14-6 lead in the first quarter.
Tupper, a seventh grader, had the hot hand and had 11 of the points in the first.
Rappahannock held off the Rams for an exciting one point win.
Tupper lead in scoring with 14 points, Porter with nine and Boelte added eight.
Boelte also led in rebounding with 11, and Jenkins pulled down eight boards.
It’s been an exciting year so far and the Junior Panthers are looking forward to the second half of the season and hopefully will be picking up some more wins for their fans.
