gives them a place to get involved in fitness classes and other activities. We all know that “the rec center” here in Rappahannock County is not used for sports or recreation by most. I admit that some go for basketball and tennis and to play on the playground but most go for all the wrong reasons, and some shy away from “the rec center” because others are out there doing those things.
Also it is basically useless in the winter, because it is too cold to be out there, and snow and ice are often on the courts.
Another affect it would have is on the competitiveness of our school’s athletic teams. From what I have witnessed RCHS is the laughing stock of the Bull Run District, as well
