She was preceded in death by her husb&nd, Theodore Carpenter.
Mrs. Carpenter is survived by three brothers, Ellis Glasker of Washington, Thomas Glasker of Warrenton and Col. Samuel Glasker of Culpeper.
A funeral service was held Dec. 28 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville with the Rev. Michael Tinsley offiaating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
