Since his death, two taxexempt non-profit hinds have been established in his name. One is The Krebser Fund for Rappahannock County Conservation, a land trust sponsored by the Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance, the Rappahannock Farmers’ Association, the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, and the Piedmont Environmental Council. The other is the Headwaters’ Krebser Endowment Challenge, a matching fund to help underwrite portions of Headwaters’ operating expenses. An anonymous donor will match 50 percent of all contributions for the next three years.
