CITY OF MANASSAS ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II (Salary Range: $42,890 - $68,640). Provides direction and technical expertise to the field surveying crew; responsible for daily operations of survey crew; perform technical functions utilizing Autodesk LDD software; and create project plans. AutoCad experience required to prepare grading, roadway, and utility plans; experience required using survey EDM and data collector; and plan review experience desirable. Experience reviewing site plans for conformance to established standards also desired. Two-year Associates Degree from college or technical school in engineering or surveying; and, four to six years of progressively responsible related experience; or, any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job Valid State Driver's License required.
