A Winter Warming’ exhibit
The Middle Street Gallery’s upcoming show, “A Winter Warming,” runs from Jan. 2 through Feb. 29 with an opening reception on Sunday, Jan. 4 from 2 to 6 p.m. Member artists have put together a new collection of especially warm, bright and cheery images. These artists live in the Piedmont area of Virginia and beyond, and work in a variety of styles and media. There is something for everyone to enjoy. The gallery is located next to the Inn at Little Washington. Hours are Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call the gallery for more information at 540-675-3440.
New dance classes
Charmaine Lee is offering a special Synergy Dance class Saturday, Jan. 3. It is a unique experience with live music, abundance of African, Celtic, South American and Middle Eastern rhythms and lots of space to move. The class will be held at the Belle Meade School House, Route 231 at 11:30 a.m. For the belly dance class aficionados, a new series of four classes will start Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Belle Meade School House.
