The team was judged on stunting, projection of voices, choreography, overall impression, motions, jumps, dance, transition, degree of difficulty and tumbling where each category carries a possible best score of 10 points to total 100 points from each judge.
In the first round of competition, the Panthers scored 240 out of 300 points largely due to the tumbling abilities of Jami Jacobs.
“Jami is really the only one I have who does tumbling,” said coach Bonnie Pullin. “She really adds the points on for us.”
