The general sense of renaissance in Sperryville will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 20, as new businesses and continuing businesses that are offering something new, join together in an Open House from 4-7 p.m. The day will include food, art, special sales, and even an historic walking tour, earlier in the day at 3 p.m.
The conception of the Sperryville Open House began when the Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC) decided to hold an open house for its new office located at the Thornton River House on Main Street. The idea quickly expanded to include much of Main Street as the new office of Ki Theater, Old Rag Photography, UnCommon Sense, Long View Gallery, Blueridge Artisans, the Old Sperryville Bookshop, Tom’s Mountain Garden and the Apple Hill Bakery all decided to participate.
