Julie Konick modeled an argyle suit at the Wakefield Country Day School benefit fashion show held at Rick and Lindy Hart’s House in Hume last Sunday. The benefit raised about $8,000 for the school. iFew tickets remain for the “Frogs, Toads, Coons and Cows,” an evening of theater and dance monologues, to be presented by Joyce ’ Abell and Sharon Wyrrick at Ki Theater in Washington at 8 p.m. this Friday. Each will be performing a new piece. This will be Mrs. Abell’s fourth performance in the county.
The Updike family from Washington again took home several honors for their cattle from ■ the State Fair in Richmond.
