The Rappahannock Blueand-Gold took fourth place. Page County was first place, Manassas Park, second, and Strasburg, third. While Page County is the defending state champion, the Panthers have faced some of the toughest competition within its own Bull Run District with Manassas Park and Strasburg.
“Page County (cheerleaders) are our role models,” said Pullin, who is constantly amazed at the talent her squad faces as well as the talent and dedication of her own team.
“It never ceases to amaze me to watch them walk in the gym, set for their routine and all of a sudden 20 (athletes) become one. One heart, one soul and one goal.”
