Club’s Achievement Day which was held at the Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Washington on Nov. 14th. The honorable Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., Mayor of Washington, gave a very interesting and informative address on “Our Rappahannock Heritage.” She also challenged us for support in helping find historical information about our county. 4-H members Carty Moffet and Billy Paine entertained with their talents.

Amissville Homemakers Club represented by Mrs. Frances Lawrence and Mrs. Katherine Rile was named Club of the Year Monday evening at the annual Achievement Night held at Amissville fire hall. The club display on quilts and quilting received the blue ribbon. These quilts were made by Mrs. Lawrence and Mrs. Riley and the latter arranged the exhibit which included patterns for step by step directions for the project.
