The Rappahannock Panther girls’ volleyball team hosted the first round of Region B action Tuesday night as they hosted the Bison of Buffalo Gap High School.
The Panthers went the distance winning two of the five games, one game short of victory and a chance to advance in the Region.
Those who have followed this Rappahannock team have become accustomed to seeing Anna Kreyling and Mattie Nawrocki step up and dominate at the net with kills and blocks, and this outing was no different. The difference was those who have been stepping up more and more as the season came to a close.
“I have watched Anna and knew I wanted to be that good also,” said Samantha Brown, a junior hitter for the team. Brown began the first game with powerful kills that left the Bison stunned and left the Panther fans hopeful for next season as this district
