Come join RappFLOW and the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District at our Sperryville office for a macroinvertebrate workshop on Wednesday, September 27th from 5:307:30pm. Learn how to determine the health of Rappahannock’s rivers and streams by identifying the bugs and other invertebrates in our waters. AD are welcome. This workshop is the first part of the certification process to become a Virginia Save Our Streams certified monitor. RappFLOW and the CSWCD are looking for volunteers willing to become certified in the VA SOS methods and non-certified assistants to monitor one or two designated sites four times each year. U.S. Senator George AUen (R-VA) will have his representative for Western Virginia hold office hours on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Chaz Evans-Haywood will be in Washington at the Rappahannock County Library, 4 Library Road from 11:30 a. m. to 12:30 p. m. to discuss issues facing the area with constituents and to help anyone having problems with a federal agency.
