The new reservoir for the Tbwn of Washington is complete.
Water was recently pumped into the tank filling it over the top. “100,000 gallons were pumped down the hill by Laura’s house,” Tbwn Mayor Eugene Leggett said with a chuckle, “however crews were able to bring it back under control.”
Tbwn Clerk Laura Dodd said that the problem was believed to be the result of faulty gauges. “This is a major milestone for us,” said councilman Vice Mayor Reinhardt Lynch warmly. Wastewater project funding temporarily

Herb White also reported that the town has been temporarily approved for a loan from the Department of Environmental Quality's (DEQ) Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund. The town expects to get a three percent rate for a 30-year loan.
