In the September 14 issue of the Rappahannock News, an article titled “Supervisors won’t decide on sludge” described the company Recyc Systems as being the same entity as Bio Grow, a sludge hauling company that had previously participated in a lawsuit against Rappahannock County. This was incorrect. Recyc Systems and Bio Grow are separate companies.
In an article about September 11 services, contributor Jon Heddleston described Paul A. Poling as joining the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department in 1938. This was incorrect. Mr. Poling actually joined the McLean Fire Department in 1938. Mr. Poling is actually a long time volunteer of the McLean, Amissville and Jeffersonton fire departments, and a very busy man.
