I hope you have been enjoying the change in the weather as much as I have. Temperatures in the 60s and 70s are much more to my liking than when they were in the 80s and 90s. And the rain finally came back for a visit. It was getting a bit overdue.
Do you remember those first lettuce and tomato sandwiches of early summer? Fresh out of the garden, and you thought you would always have that for lunch. Then the weather cools a little and we see another sign of the changing seasons when we begin to prefer a bowl of hot vegetable soup or chili to the lettuce and tomato sandwich.
