RESCINDING ORDINANCES

BANNING THE LAND APPLICATION OF

SEWAGE SLUDGE

The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a public hearing to consider rescinding ordinances relating to the land application of sewage sludge, as amendments to the Rappahannock County Code, on Monday, October 2, 2006, at 7:00 PM at the Courthouse in Washington, VA.

The complete text of the Ordinances to be deleted from the County Code is available for inspection at the County Administration & Zoning Office, 290 Gay Street, Washington, VA 22747. The sections to be deleted are §170-38 A. (7), contained in the Zoning Chapter, and §111-1, contained in the Health Chapter. Further information is available by calling (540) 675-5330.
