MEETINGS

• On Thursday, Jan. 8 the Washington Archrtecturai Review Board will meet at 7:30 p. m. in the Town Hall on Gay Street. The agenda includes a request for a sign by artist Linda Lawler, tenant at 291B Main Street (Ice House). • On Tuesday, Jan. 13 the Rappahannock County School Board will meet at 7 p.m. closed session and at 7:30 p.m. public session at RCHS band room. • The Washington Town Council will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, Jan. Mat 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. The agenda includes: a wastewater update on a wastewater preconstruction meeting and construction status; consideration of a proposal from Country Water Systems to take old cast iron pumps in the water system offline; and a proposal from Country Water Systems for emergency water system repairs during the wastewater system construction.
