One of the secrets To Angie Duckworth’s success is her passion for helping others. As a clinical/telemetry tech, she assists the nurses with patient care. Whether Angie is starting an IV, checking a blood sugar level, or reading a heart monitor, she’s always lending a hand.
“I love helping the patients and seeing them get better,” Angie says. “And I love seeing them go home to be with their loved ones after their stay with us. That’s always the greatest reward.”
Being able to help her coworkers is just as important. Coming in at 3 a.m. on short notice to solve a scheduling problem, or taking on new responsibilities as the unit secretary never were a problem for her.
I just love helping other people out," Angie says. "But it’s easy for me because this is such a great organization to work for. The staff is wonderful and the teamwork is amazing.”
