of Virginia Living Magazine features Copper Fox Distillery. Rick Wasmund, owner of Copper Fox states that “...when a representative from the Edinburghbased Scotch Whiskey Research Institute recently tasted (Copper Fox ), whiskey, he guessed its age at seven years. It was six weeks old."
The unique process and flavor that Wasmund has created from the use a£ and cherry wood to dry his barley and toasted wood during the 14 month aging process stand alone in the industry’.
Copper Fox Distillery is located off Water Street in the old apple packing complex (across the lot from Copper Fox Antiques). Tour hours are Monday - Friday at 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday at noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., (or by appointment). This unique distillery is not to bo missed.
