The Amissville
Christmas Basket Committee would like to extend sincere thanks to all who participated in this year’s project. In spite of hard economic times, neighbors dug deeper than ever into their pockets to ensure that others in greater need would be remembered during the holiday season. The joy on the faces of recipients just reinforced the reason for continuing this decades old tradition.
Those churches and non-profit groups who participated include the Amissville Baptist Church, Amissville Full Gospel Church, Amissville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, Bethel Baptist Church, Forest Grove Baptist Church, the Amissville Girl Scout Troop, the Amissville 4H Club, the Amissville Ruritan Club, and the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
