Well over 100 persons turned out at the LINK community center in Sperryville on the morning of the first of January to celebrate the New Year, socialize with friends, donate to the LINK and enjoy a scrumptious lunch.
The soothing sounds of Linda Heimstra’s vocal jazz, backed up by her trio, provided an event that we hope is repeated every year. How lovely to start the New Year with a community gathering of Rappahannock folk in the historic school house.
We look forward to continuing to participate in the development of this community center. Remember, it is up to us to make it happen.
