in Hurt Hollow in Madison County just over the Rappahannock line. Now she sings with her two brothers and four others in a group they call Hurt Hollow and have appeared at our Sperryville Volunteer Fire Hall’s Pickin' Party. This coming .Saturday Donna's cousins will lead the way with music. Cousin Larry Haynes sings lead and tenor and plays guitar with the Dark Hollow Bluegrass Band (www.darkhollowbluegrass.c om). You won’t have to wait for the July Bluegrass festival in Luray to hear this talented group.
Cousins Paul Haynes and Paula Berry, who play with Brush Arbor, also will be performing this week. - We are grateful to Donna who takes major responsibility for contacting and coordinating with the many wonderful groups that come to Sperryville.
