Pageant will be held at the Rappahannock County Elementary School on Saturday, April 25 at 4 p.m. The pageant is a social event for the community and a fundraiser for the squad.
The pageant will feature more than 10 categories. For many, the highlight of the evening is the crowning of Miss Rappahannock, a competition for 16- to 19-year old girls. This year, in addition to appearing in evening gowns. Miss Rappahannock contestants will be asked to write a paragraph or two on volunteering and what it means to them.
