The book describes “most of what happens in studio photography" said Stoppee and was aimed at “people who use photography as part of what they do for a living," but not necessarily as professional photographers.

The core of the book is about light. “Light is the basis of all things photographic,” said the Sboppees.

There are also chapters on digital manipulation.

The Stoppees have owned studios in Manhattan, Pennsylvania and Richmond.

In addition to one-on-one consultations offered this weekend, Stoppee said they plan to offer two, one-week long seminars this summer providing there is sufficient interest. Brian is also available to answer questions via email at studio@m2media. com.
