That, to me, is a strange thing to say. Believe as you wish, sir. That is your right and obviously your passion. We have that right here because we protect freedom of religion, because we are not a theocracy.
Well, enough of all this. If you think I'm just wmofin', get onto the newspaper's Web site and read what I said and then read what Mr. Eborn said that I said. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of “truth” there. The proof is already in print.
And as Inspector Columbo used to say, “Just one more thing." There is this misstatement by Mr. Eborn: “Previously, Mr. Jones was a member of Congress and I understand he has ambitions of returning there someday,” he writes.
Now in this case I can tell you for certain that nothing could be further from “the truth.” I'd rather undergo two years of root canals without anesthesia than to go back to Congress. You can take that to the bank. If it hasn't closed already.
