Friday night's match against Emmanuel Christian School met with success w ith an easy 30 The girls played a well-organized game, systematically marching their way to two easy victories in the first two games. The team had 17 ares and 17 kills. Combine that with Christine Pankow and Amanda Carroll's jump serves, and Isabelle Eastham's 5 kills and 5 blocks, and ECS team couldn't get a rally going The scores were 25-1 i, 25-10 and 25-22.
Varsity Soccer
The Owls rolled to a 10-1 victory over a shorthanded team from Emmanuel Christian on 9/25 in a DAC match. Patrick Brown, Daniel Chadduck and Carl Liles scored their first goals of the season. The other players w ho scored goals were: Alex Grove with 2 goals. Brian Shafran with 2 goals, Ryan Won with 2 goals and Cooper Weir netted a goal The win pushed our DAC record to 2-0-1
Varsity Tennis
The Owls were significantly overmatched from an experience and skill standpoint in our match with Wakefield school on 9/24. The result was a 6-1 loss. The big surprise was Hannah Tuffs' win at number 1 singles. It was a really long match, and she was playing against a girl much bigger and stronger.
