David Shelton Hitt David Shelton Hitt, 54, of Culpeper went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at his residence. He was bom on March 5,1955 in Warrenton, VA to the late Floyd B. Hitt and Lucy Mae Smith Hitt. Mr. Hitt was an active member of the Church On The Hill of Culpeper, VA. He is survived by his son, Allen Hitt and two brothers, Danny Hitt of Castleton and Donald Hitt of Viewtown. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 1 pm. at Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor G.W. Dameron officiating. David Owen Poe David Owen Poe, 59, of Amissville, VA died on September 26, 2009 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA. He was bom on May 30, 1950 in Arlington, VA the son of Harvey W. Poe from Fairfax, VA and Mary E. Lawrence of Belmont, NC. His wife, Lillian Diane Poe, predeceased him. Mr. Poe had served in the National Guard and was a retired Photographer. In addition to his parent’s he is survived by two sons; Nathan Stanley Poe, Richmond, VA and Brian Lawrence Poe, Charlottesville, VA, a sister, Linda Poe Fesmire, Belmont, NC and a grandson, Jackson B. Pbe, Richmond, VA. The family will receive friends from l-3pm on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, VA 20186.
