On Thursday, Oct. 1 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the county courthouse on Gay Street. • On Monday, Oct. 5 the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will meet at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. for a public hearing at the county courthouse on Gay Street. The 2 p.m. agenda includes: Broadband service-stimulus funding; Shenandoah River regional jail authority resolution and service; governor’s budget cuts and proposed spending reductions; Route 729, Richmond Road . bridge project; sewer tap for former Ki Theatre; and Rappahannock Athletic Association’s request for funding. • The 7 p.m. agenda includes: Amending proffers, Wolk property (Flint Hill School); Wolk house rezoning (adjacent to former Flint Hill School/Flint Hill Public House); Samuels' private sewage treatment facility; Playhouse Corporation (Gastleton Festival. Maazel); amendment of special exception permit conditions. • The Rappahannock County School Board will hold a public hearing Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m., in the Rappahannock County High School Band Room.
