Loudoun County s Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, Substance Abuse Services is seeking qualified applicants for Quality Improvement Manager; responsible for overall direction, coordination, implementation o! a quality assurance and risk management program and to serve as the Department and County Privacy Officer. Responsibilities include: manage/coordinate compliance with HIPAA and human rights; manage/coordinate compliance with Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services licensure, monitor/assure implementation of quality assurance' systems/activities for MHMRSAS. Provide staff support to the Local Human Rights Committee; investigate complaints and incidents related to HIPAA privacy violations and human rights, identify and resolve system issues as appropriate; collaborate with Program Managers, staff and other Department Privacy Officers to coordinate and complete investigative reviews, compile findings/recommendations resulting from review of departmental practices/ processes and recommend improvements; develop policies and procedures as appropriate; ensure staff compliance with training required by State licensure; and manage e-learning Network of Care system for registering and recording course completion. Master s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration. Public Health or related field and a minimum of two years related professional level experience. Knowledge of Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services licensure regulations, as related to C'SB programs, and HIPAA and Medicaid regulations a plus. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal background, credit and driving record checks and TB test. Must have valid driver s license.
