Last weekend something important
happened in our county Twenty three farms, wineries and farm-based school programs welcomed visitors onto their properties and went to significant efforts to educate the visitors about their operations and how and why their products are produced.
The sheer variety of participants was inspiring And at The Link, which . housed the starting point of the tour. 24 organizations and vendors offered educational information and products. This was not a weekend focused on sales or competition; it was a time for education and community and that it happened is exciting and encouraging and should be repeated and expanded
