Hills Farm and how to attract butterflies, not deer, at Hill House Farm & Nursery.

Schools participated in making the weekend even more special. The Rappahannock Schools’ Farm to Table Program gave educational tours and hands-on plantings and rain barrel building; Mountain Laurel Montessori Farm School had student-guided tours of the farm and school and hands-on demonstrations of many farm chores.

County vineyards Rappahannock Cellars, Gadino, Gray Ghost, Sharp Rock and Narmada (the newest addition to the county) - provided educational programs including tours of the vineyards with winemakers, learning about the various cycles of grapes and harvesting techniques, as well as the steps in making various wines.
