ivairi, what Kain? That was the attitude of over 450 persons who participated in the first Farm Tour in Rappahannock in 20 years this past weekend despite heavy rains and winds. With smiles on their faces, adults and children alike came with boots and umbrellas to The Link community center in Sperryville enjoyed the marketplace, and went off on their selfguided tour of 22 venues throughout the county.
Approximately 450 adults bought tickets, many with children in tow (under 16 years of age were free) to enjoy all the activities during the Farm Tour: Fun and education throughout the county such as Bluegrass music, ice cream and popcorn at Roy’s, natural dyeing at Wit’s End, organic vegetables at Waterpenny, the Rain Garden at The Link, cooking grass fed meats, dog herding and responsible sustainable fanning at
