Special to the Rappahannock News

The Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance (RCCA) celebrated its 10th anniversary Nov. 15 by presenting its Distinguished Service Award to Hal Hunter of Amissville and a check for $22,500 to the Earmland Preservation Program (FPP) bringing its total donated to that cause to $100,000 over the last 10 years.

Held at Wakefield Country Day School, the FPP check was accepted by the board of supervisors all of whom were present at RCCA's annual meeting.
