Mrs. Johanna Patzig of Sperryville, who has been a most able and active volunteer in organizing work at the Rappahannock library, was honored with a reception Sunday at the library More than 150 patrons and friends of the library and of Mrs. Patzig attended the afternoon tea. Miss Bernadine Wilson, new ly appointed librarian. was also a guest of honor at the reception.

Recent new and renewing subscribers to the Rappahannock News which are announced with appreciation are Tyler J. Ritenour, David L. Fannon, W. H. Lyne, Airman David Lyne, Thomas H. Andrews, Stewart M.
